For Microbit Version 1, use the following link https://makecode.microbit.org/v0 to develop the code. For Microbit Version 2, use "show screen block" to send the data. ( For display to work, 01/03/2021 )
Thank you for your sharing and information.
The extension on MakeCode is not working for both Microbit and Microbit V2, compilation failed for Microbit and also failed to display for the case of Microbit V2. For Microbit V2 in MakeCode, the block for "send dsiaply data" is missing. Trying email to waveshare service team and is giving poor support. Waveshare service support team does not solve the extension for Microbit issue either. I don't recommend waveshare as really suck. ( lian heng Koh , 25/02/2021 )
