    Description

A pH test meter is an electronic device used for measuring the pH value (acidity or alkalinity) of a liquid. A typical pH meter consists of a special measuring probe (a glass electrode) connected to an electronic meter that measures and displays the pH reading. This product has the function of automatic temperature compensation function, which obviously improves the accuracy of measurement (especially when the temperature difference between liquid and space is large).

Note: You may get crystalized temperature probe like the picture below (the white part). But you don't have to worry, it does not affect the pH measurement. :)

    Usage method:

    1. Remove the protective cap and the protective film on the screen
    2. Rinse the electrode with distilled water, then clean with filter paper
    3. Turn on the meter by pressing the ON/OFF button.
    4. Immerse the pH meter electrode in the test solution
Note: Immerse only the electrode part. Do not submerge the whole pH meter into the test solution to avoid spoiling the circuit board.
    5. Stir gently and wait for around 30 seconds or until the reading is stabilized.
    6. After finished, rinse the electrode with distilled water again.
    7. Turn the meter off by pressing the ON/OFF button and replace the protective cap after each use.

    Calibration:

    1. Turn on the pH meter.
    2. Dissolve each buffer solution in 250 mI of distilled water.
    3. Immerse the electrode into the pH 6.86 solution (under the temperature of 25℃).
    4. Press the "CAL”(calibration) button for 5 seconds and release.
      • The display will start flashing "6.86".
      • Wait until the display stops flashing.
      • Rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry it with filter paper.
    5. Immerse the electrode in pH 4.00 solution.
      • Press the CAL button for 5 seconds, then press and release it immediately the second time.
      • Reading will start flashing "4.00".
      • Wait until the display stops flashing.
      • Rinse and dry the electrode with distilled water as before.
    6. Place the meter back to the buffer solution to test calibration If incorrect, please repeat the calibration steps.
    7. If the approximate pH of your test solution is known to be above 7.0, calibrate the meter using 6.86 and 9.18 solutions. To do this, please follow the calibration chart.
    8. Repeat the calibration method for 9.18pH.

Note: If you calibrated the meter in the air or in the wrong calibration solution, an "ERR" message will be flashed on the screen. If necessary, recalibrate the meter.

    Recalibration is needed when:

    • Lengthy periods of inactivity
    • Very frequent use
    • The testing accuracy requirement is very high.
    • The "cal" (calibration) button was pushed and the electrode exposed to air for an extended period of time

    Maintenance:

    • Always replace protective cap after using a digital meter to keep electrode from drying out due to prolonged exposure to air, which leads to slow or unstable readings.
    • If the electrode has been dried out immerse it into distilled water for a few hours.
    Warranty Period: 12 months
    Features
    • High accuracy
      • The digital pH meter has a sensitive electrode sensor to read accurate ph levels. It has a resolution of 0.01pH and an accuracy of ±0.01pH.
      • Auto calibration
        • The pH tester pen has an auto temperature compensation feature that adjusts to water temperatures and water quality to give pH readings almost instantly. You can also calibrate the tester manually with the one-touch button 'CAL' using pH buffer powder.
      • Automatic temperature compensation
        • No more need to take care about the temperature of testing liquid, as ph tester has built-in (ATC) automatic temperature compensation, so that it can accurately determine pH value of the sample at any temperature in a range of 0°C - 60°C (32°F - 140°F).
      • Wide usage
        • Pocket size PH meter appropriate for a wide range of applications, ideal for household or laboratory use, suitable for testing ph balance of drinking water, pool, aquarium, RO system, spa, or hydroponics.

      Specifications:

      • Measuring Range: 0.00 -14.00 pH
