You will be part of the Cytron Product Design team to design the new products that simplify digital making. You will have the opportunity to work in a high growth company and develop important skills such as problem-solving, collaboration and adaptability.

Responsibilities (Product Design Engineer):

• Design circuit schematic and translate it into PCB layout using KiCad.

• Build the proof of concept circuit to test out the functionality of the design when needed.

• PCB layout optimization and make sure it’s designed for manufacturing (DFM).

• Test and verify the prototype PCB and make sure it works and compliance to the specifications.

• Develop embedded firmware/libraries for the new product.

• Create the datasheet/diagram/tutorial/product page writeup for the new product.

• Troubleshoot problems of Cytron products and provide a solution.

Responsibilities (Test Development Engineer): 

• Define the test scope and develop test plans for products.

• Construct product tester hardware, including 3D printing and wiring.

• Develop test firmware, conduct troubleshooting, fine-tuning, and validate tests.

• Address and resolve any issues with testers.

• Manage documentation, maintain issue logs, and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.

• Fresh grad or experienced engineers are welcome to apply.

• Experienced in using PCB design software.

• Knowledge in Embedded C/C++/Python programming language.

• Good communication skills in English (Spoken and written).

Bonus:

• A little bit of perfectionist (Just a little bit, not too much).

• Maker at heart (Like to tinker with electronics).

• Strong electronics and embedded firmware troubleshooting skill.

• Experience in using KiCad.

• Experience with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Microbit, CircuitPython, AI, IoT…etc.

• Good soldering skills.

You will be part of the Cytron Genie team who handles the Cytron customer with their order.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customers by using phone, chat support, or email.

• Help customers with their orders and offer solutions.

• Troubleshoot Cytron products and provide a solution.

• Test and inspect the warranty item before returning it back to the customer.

• Communicate with suppliers to resolve customer issues.

• Create instructions or tutorials for a recurring problem as needed.

• Assist with digital marketing activities.

Requirements:

• Degree holder. (Basic knowledge of Electronics).
