MD10-POT is a motor driver or speed controller that enables you to easily control a motor's run/brake, direction and speed. No microcontroller is needed in a complete setup, hence programming is not required too. A DC brushed motor can be controlled directly using the Switch (Activation & Direction) and Potentiometer (Speed) included in the package.
Control DC brushed motor's direction (Clockwise / Counter-clockwise).
Control DC brushed motor's speed.

The Cytron MD10-POT is a single-channel bidirectional DC motor driver designed for brushed DC motors operating between 7V and 30V. It supports up to 10A continuous current (30A peak), making it suitable for medium-power motors.
Can I use this motor driver for robotics or RC applications?
The MD10-POT is mainly designed for manual motor control using a built-in potentiometer for speed and direction switch for forward/reverse. It is NOT INTENTED for RC or microcontroller-based robotics, but it is great for simple motor testing and standalone applications.
What control signals are supported?
The MD10-POT does not require external control signals like PWM or DIR. Instead, it provides direct manual control through the on-board potentiometer (for speed adjustment) and switch (for direction control).
Does this motor driver include protection features?
While the MD10-POT DOES NOT have reverse polarity protecting, it does includes regenerative braking.
What are common applications for this driver?
The MD10-POT is commonly used in motor testing setups, conveyor belts, DIY automation systems, and lab experiments where quick and simple manual speed and direction control is needed.
Can the MD10POT be used without a microcontroller?
Yes. The MD10-POT is designed for standalone operation and does not require a microcontroller or RC receiver. It comes with potentiometer and 3-way rocket switch, allow you to control a brushed DC motor directly, making it ideal for quick prototyping or non-programming applications.
