Based on AI computers Nvidia Jetson Nano and Jetson Xavier NX, the Alternative NVidia Jetson Nano B01 Dev Kit provides almost the same peripheral interfaces (NO micro SD card slot on the Jetson Nano SOM, comes with built-in 16GB eMMC instead) as Jetson Nano and Jetson Xavier NX.

The carrier board size and thickness are the same as the Jetson Nano Developer Kit (B01). It's compatible with Jetson Nano SOM and Jetson Xavier NX SOM, more convenient for upgrading the core module. By utilizing the power of the core module, it is qualified for fields like image classification, object detection, segmentation, speech processing, etc., and can be used in sorts of AI projects.

The Alternative NVidia Jetson Nano B01 Dev Kit comes with the official Nvidia Jetson Nano System on Module (SOM) that delivers 0.5 TFLOPs (FP16), making it ideal for high-performance computing and AI in embedded and edge systems. You get the performance of 128 NVIDIA CUDA® Cores and Quad-Core ARM CPUs. Combined with over 25.6GB/s of memory bandwidth, video encoder, and decoder, these features make Jetson Nano the platform of choice to run multiple modern neural networks in parallel and process high-resolution data from multiple sensors simultaneously.

Note: The Alternative NVidia Jetson Nano B01 Dev Kit uses the production Jetson Nano version, which has 16 eMMC for OS instead of the SD card slot. In this case, to write the Jetson Nano OS, you will need to use a Ubuntu 18.04 PC on a host PC and the SDK Manager tools. You may refer to this tutorial on How to write Jetson Nano OS.
