DHT22 output calibrated digital signal. Small size & low consumption & long transmission distance(20m) enable DHT22 to be suited in all kinds of harsh application occasions. Single-row packaged with four pins, making the connection very convenient.
As you can see, the sensor size is so small when we compared with Malaysia 20 cent. Alternatively the size should be around our index finger size.
Note: Malaysia 20 cent is not included in the packing list. Picture above just for your reference only.

Hi, I've bought 2 of these sensors and have been using them for about a month now. I realize the the temperature readings goes off by up to 10 Deg C and humidity is mostly at 99.9 %rH. The same has been happening to both these sensors since I've started using them ( Justin, 31/10/2019 )

hai, does it necessary to connect 10K ohm resistor to the data pin to 5v supply?What are the effects if the resistor are removed? I check it does work without the 10K ohm resistor ( user, 17/05/2018 )
Hi, most of the tutorial advise to put a pull up resistor at the data pin in order to read the signal.
