Passive Infra-Red (PIR) sensor is a motion detector sensor by measuring changes in the infrared levels emitted by surrounding objects. It gives HIGH signal at the I/O pin when motion is detected. Usually used as a security device in a monitored area (such as a room or hall) to detect the appearance of human being.

    Features:
    • Operating voltage: 5 to 20V DC
    • Single bit output (digital)
    • Delay time adjustable
    • Compatible with all types of microcontroller
    • Small size makes it easy to conceal
    • Plug n Play feature

Hi,I wanna ask that this sensor functioning like an infrared sensor ( Zubair, 18/06/2020 )
Hi, yes it is passive infrared sensor. Thanks :)
Hi,I wanna ask what is the function of the second pin that connectted to a yellow bracket? ( Zubair, 18/06/2020 )
Hi, it is used to adjust delay and sensitivity too. Thanks :)
    Hi,Is this sensor is sensitive ( Zubair, 18/06/2020 )
Hi, yes it is sensitive. Thanks :)
Hi,I wanna ask What is the function of the yellow bracket? ( Zubair, 18/06/2020 )
Hi, are you referring to the potentiometer? It is used to adjust delay and sensitivity. Thanks :)
Hi I wanna ask.. can it connect to raspberry pi? ( Dil, 02/03/2020 )
Hi, yes, it can be connected to Raspberry Pi. Thanks :)
    2 question:
    1. When it will be restock?
    2. is it water resistant (splash)? i want to use it at outside of my house.
    ( sobri, 14/03/2018 )
Hi, it will restock in 3week. kindly click on notify me button and we will send you email notification once e have it and this sensor is only suitable for indoor :)
what is the minimum delay time for this PIR sensor, i cant find it in user manual ( FIRDAUS BACHOK, 31/12/2017 )

Hi, currently we don't have that information from the supplier. However you can adjust the variable resistor to tune the sensitivity and delay time. Hi. I want to ask about the triggerable of this sensor. I have tested this sensor. When there is movement detected by this sensor, the sensor is triggered but the high output of this sensor only triggered for the delay time only for example 5 second. But this sensor will off automatically after 5 seconds even there is still movement on the sensor. The sensor only trigger back after about 2-3 second the sensor off.. This sensor suppose to work continously if there is movement on the sensor ( chen, 26/11/2017 )
Hi, you can try to adjust the variable resistor on PIR sensor for sensitivity and delay. For further questions, please visit to our technical forum for similar question or post your question there, as this session is only for short inquiry. Thanks.
how long the distance of the sensor can detect? ( ha, 26/04/2017 )
This PIR sensor has distance range of approximately 3-7 meters and can sense object up to 120o within 1 meter range. Thanks :)
Do we need to use resistor with this pir sensor ? If yes , what is the value of the resistor needed if we use 5v of volt. ( fara, 21/11/2016 )

Nop, if you check the User's Manual, it does not require resistor to work with 5V system.
