We ran OpenCV tests on the Raspberry Pi 5 using this PD power adapter, and it worked seamlessly!

Because it comes with a fixed main adaptor, it is lower in price yet as solid as a rock. There are two (2) types of AC plug types, please choose the one suitable for your country.

Power delivery (PD) for this power supply is designed to provide a maximum of 27 watts (27W) of electrical power and a maximum current output of 5 amperes (5A). This means it can deliver a stable and ample supply of power to the Raspberry Pi 5, ensuring it has the necessary electrical energy to operate efficiently. The 27W power capacity is suitable for powering the Raspberry Pi 5 and any connected peripherals or accessories, making it a reliable and robust power source for this single-board computer. The 5A maximum current ensures that the power supply can handle high-demand situations and provides a margin of safety for the Raspberry Pi's power requirements. Overall, this power supply is well-suited for powering the Raspberry Pi 5 and is designed to meet its electrical needs effectively.

The output voltage of this adapter is cleverly adjusted to a higher level at 5.1V for long cable and high current usage. At low current consumption, the voltage will be maintained at 5.1V, which is acceptable for most 5.0V devices as the high limit is 5.5V. In the case of a high current draw, the voltage will drop across the cable (long cable), and the additional 0.1V will compensate for the drop. That is perfect! Besides, the extended length of the USB type C plug is good for powering those Raspberry Pi with a case.
