Finally user can enjoy another simple yet reliable wireless communication for robots. XBee OEM RF module has been used in many robotics applications world wide to offer wireless communication, point to point and also mesh network. No more searching for surrounding device and request for connection, it can send data wireless after powering up without any extra configuration. Additionally, the communication range is very good (100 meters) for a low powered device (1mW). Its small form factor saves valuable board space. No configuration is necessary for out-of-box RF communications. XBee module comes with application software to ease user in editing configuration and also for functional testing. Since the XBee module pin is 2mm pitch to pitch (is difficult to plug in standard board), you can use SKXBEE as starter kit.

Hello! I'm using 3 xbees to communicate with each other.2 as end device(senders) and one as coordinate (receiver).Should I set the xbees at XCTU to configuration or network ? thank you ( Azam, 13/05/2016 )

Hi. Yes you can configure the Xbee by using XCTU. Further inquiry, kindly visit our technical forum as this session is only for short inquiry. Thanks :)

Hi...can xbee series 1 do star wireless network or mesh network like series 2? ( azhar, 09/05/2016 )

Hi. You can see the difference of XBee Series 1 and Series 2 here. Thanks :)

Im looking for Xbee Pro 900 RPSMA. Is this available? ( Noob, 09/10/2015 )

We did not keep stock for this model. You can contact sales@cytron.com.my to check with the price.

Defect item replaced. Good Customer service. Many Thanks ( gorgom, 04/08/2015 )

Thanks!

Hi, I had bought XBee 1mW Wire Antenna - Series 1 and XBee Starter kit on 18/7/2015 but just using the items today. When supplied power, I noticed something wrong with XBee 1mW Wire Antenna. Firstly, I thought there are short connection between breakout board pin. When I check the Xbee 1mW Wire Antenna - Series 1 pin, I found that pin 3.3 V(pin 1) Xbee short with pin GND(pin 10). May I know what is the problem? For information, there are no such problem for the Xbee on the starter kit. Thanks ( gorgom, 30/07/2015 )

Hi, can you please contact our support@cytron.com.my with more info? A few photos with explanation will help us understand the condition better :) Thanks.

Hi, Is the green board (in the picture) include together if I bought this item? Or it sold separately? Thanks ( gorgom, 11/06/2015 )

The XBee breakout board (green board) is included but not soldered.

Can i do the XCTU network setting using Arduino with Xbee shield directly? Or i need a starter kit? I am afraid that the setting will crash with the Arduino serial data if both are program together. ( martin, 05/03/2015 )

That is possible, Cytron XBee shield provides the option to connect XBee, and the computer may communicate with the XBee. But your Arduino must not enable the serial function as the serial on Arduino will disturb the communication between XBee and computer. Check out the tutorial: Using Cytron XBee Shield. If you have further inquiry, please do discuss in our technical forum as this section is for short inquiry, thanks :)

In XCTU' network setting, destination address high (DH), destination address Low (DL), and 16bit source address(MY) cannot change back to 0 (recommended setting), especially DH value stuck at 1(cant change at all). Do I need to buy SKYBEE to recover the frameware? ( keanann, 13/12/2014 )

You can try using the AT command to change in the terminal windows. Anyway please do continue the discussion in our technical forum as this section is for short inquiry, thanks :)
